Thanks to everyone who came to our book launch.
It was great to see ex-players including Steve Shipp, Matt Price, Pat Rivett, Bob Don-Duncan on hand for the event after the home game against Newark.

The book, called To Be A Poacher, is on sale in the clubroom on matchdays – just ask Dom behind the bar. You can also buy it online:

Paul Bownes, who has contributed to the book, wasn’t able to make it but he also came over to Boston to collect his copy.

And there were other guest appearances from the likes of former programme editor Ron Abbott and fellow retired teacher Richard Anderson, who were colleagues of Bob Don-Duncan at Boston Grammar School.
There was also a presentation to belatedly mark Mick Vines’ 30 years service as club chairman.

He was given a commemorative photo album charting his three decades since taking over from Bill Stanwell. Club officials had planned to mark the occasion two years ago but have had to delay it because of the pandemic.
