The Poachers return to action on Wednesday (9 September) with a long midweek trip to Coventry United.
It will be a first ever meeting of the two clubs. Coventry United were formed in 2013 in response to Coventry City’s decision to move their home matches to Northampton.
After starting in the Midland Combination Division Two, they’ve won three promotions to reach the Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division
There’s added intrigue to the fixture because Coventry United chairman Ray Nowack has Lincolnshire connections.
Boston Town are one place above Coventry United in the table. They both 7 points from their opening 5 games, but the Poachers have a better goal difference.
Chris Funnell’s side can move up the table with a win or draw as there are only two other midweek league fixtrues:
