Despite the disappointing defeat against Belper Town, it was a pleasure to see David “Harry” Rhodes back in Boston.
He was at the Mortgages For You Stadium as his son Ben now plays for the Nailers.
Harry played for the Poachers during a golden era, with players like Curly Himsworth and John McPherson. He played for full seasons for the club from 1978 to 1982 when we won the league twice and the Lincs Senior A Cup three times.
