The landmarks keep on coming!
After our first competitive game as a Step 4 club and our first league game at this level, Boston Town can now look forward to welcoming Northern Premier League football to the Mortgages For You Stadium for the first time in our history.
On Saturday (15 August), Chris Funnell’s side will entertain Loughborough Students for what will be a historic occasion. Kick-off will be 3pm and we’re grateful to First Rate Flat Roofing for being our match day sponsor.
It’s the first part of a double header, as Wellingborough Town are our visitors in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division on Tuesday (18 August), kick-off 7.45pm.

The Poachers had a fantastic start to our league campaign on Wednesday, beating Corby Town 3-1 away – in front of a bumper crowd of 553, which shows the size of some of the clubs we’re up against this season.
But that win shows what the Poachers are capable of this season.
Corby were playing at Step 2 as recently as a decade ago. We’ve only ever played them 4 times before, having been drawn against them in the FA Cup 3 times. On each occasion previously, the Steelmen knocked us out, once after a replay.
The games will be coming thick and fast in the next few weeks – our win at Daventry Town in the FA Cup means we have a long Wednesday night trip to to Coventry United on 9 September.
There’s a very long way to go this season but the early signs are promising! We hope we can count on your continued support throughout 2026-27.
